It is versatile: it's the first paper republic product to fit both DIN format notebooks and paper republic refills. Moreover, with their ribbon system, you can add up to 3 refills of your choice and adapt the content as you wish.
Paper Republic crafts le portfolio by hand in their own workshop from the best vegetable-tanned vachetta leather from Italy. Needless to say: as for every paper republic creation, it is a piece of craftsmanship made to last and age well.

  • Product Sustainability

    All Paper Republic leather products are handmade in their workshop in Vienna using the finest quality, vegetable-tanned vachetta leather. Their leather comes from a family-run tannery in Tuscany, Italy and is certified by the "Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium (Pelle al Vegetale)". The leather is tanned using only natural raw materials in a traditional and eco-friendly process. No chrome is used in the tanning process.
     
    Paper Republic uses solely acid-free, FSC and PEFC-certified paper made in traditional paper mills in Europe. All their notebooks are printed in Vienna with eco-friendly, vegetable-based inks.

    How to Build Out Your Leather Portfolio

    1. Choose your Size (A4, A5, A6)
    2. Choose your Colour (natural, cognac, chestnut, olive, black)
    3. Add any of the following accessories:

    Writing Notebook *one plain booklet is included 

    Available in either plain, ruled, dotted.  Each style comes as a set of 2 booklets.  These notebooks are staple bound, each one has 48 pages.

    Writing Book

    This book series, features 96 pages of open-thread binding.  This means that your page will always lay flat. Great for lefties!  The edge has a hand painted detail.

    Drawing Book

    Mixed media paper is great with watercolours, pencils and markers.  The open-thread binding means your page will always lay flat and the edge has a hand painted detail.

    Ribbons *two ribbons are included 

    These are what keep your booklets in place, offering complete customization and continual refills to suit your habits and lifestyle.

    Le Loop

    A magnetic pen clip, to easily snap on or off the top of your leather journal.

    Please note that we don't stock each style/colour combination of the Portfolio | Leather Journal in our shop.  Once you place an order with us, we will put it into production and contact you with an estimated lead time.   These pieces are Final Sale, and not eligible for return or exchange.
