Spending my childhood traveling through Africa and Europe with my family made me aware of what “home” means. Home doesn’t require a shell to exist within. It is a feeling, a sense of belonging, family. Home is where we can let our guard down, laugh and cry – where we can be at our worst… and our best. It is where we can be vulnerable, and safe. Home is where connections happen – with family, friends, and ourselves.
Our homes are a reflection of who we are – home evokes a feeling that is personal for each of us.
My passion for design was formed in the architecturally-rich cities of London and Paris. But my passion for home began while living out of a suitcase. These passions connect in a way that helps me blend graceful design with the emotion of home. Helping homeowners understand and play with these contrasts has been a hallmark of my work for the past decade.
I know the importance of value, attention to detail and practicality. Each project I undertake is as unique as the individual I design for. After all, your taste and personality are the foundation to your home’s style. The rules of design are only there to translate that style into the best form, fit and function of your space.
Designing by trend can be visually appealing, but designing by personality creates a space that comforts all senses.
